Chapter 1: The Ghost of Captain Kidd

Captain William Kidd was a Scottish sailor who was accused of piracy and hanged in 1701. His ghost is said to haunt the waters off the coast of Vero Beach, Florida. According to legend, Kidd buried his treasure on the Treasure Coast, and his ghost now guards it.

There have been many reported sightings of Kidd's ghost over the years. In 1968, a group of fishermen saw a ghost ship off the coast of Vero Beach. The ship was said to be the Adventure Galley, Kidd's ship. The fishermen reported that the ship was manned by a crew of skeletons.

In 1978, a local historian named Dr. Edwin Link reported that he had seen Kidd's ghost on the beach at Vero Beach. Link said that the ghost was dressed in a black coat and tricorn hat. He said that the ghost walked up to him and said, "I am Captain Kidd. I buried my treasure here." Link said that he then ran away.

Whether or not Kidd's ghost really haunts the waters off the coast of Vero Beach is a mystery. However, the legend of his treasure continues to fascinate people to this day.

Chapter 2: The Haunted Jupiter Lighthouse

The Jupiter Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in Jupiter, Florida. It was built in 1860, and it is one of the oldest lighthouses in Florida.

The Jupiter Lighthouse is said to be haunted by the ghost of a former lighthouse keeper named John Thompson. Thompson was killed in 1878 when he fell from the lighthouse tower. His ghost is said to appear in the tower and on the grounds of the lighthouse.

There have been many reported sightings of Thompson's ghost over the years. In 1998, a group of tourists reported that they saw Thompson's ghost in the lighthouse tower. The tourists said that the ghost was wearing a white shirt and black pants. He said that he was looking for his keys.

In 2002, a park ranger reported that he saw Thompson's ghost on the grounds of the lighthouse. The ranger said that the ghost was walking towards the lighthouse tower. He said that the ghost was transparent and that he walked through a fence.

Whether or not Thompson's ghost really haunts the Jupiter Lighthouse is a mystery. However, the legend of his ghost continues to fascinate people to this day.

Chapter 3: The Historic Fort Pierce Hotel

The Historic Fort Pierce Hotel is a historic hotel located in Fort Pierce, Florida. It was built in 1925, and it is one of the oldest hotels on the Treasure Coast.

The Historic Fort Pierce Hotel is said to be haunted by the ghost of a former guest named Mary. Mary was a young woman who died in the hotel in 1928. Her ghost is said to appear in the hotel lobby and on the third floor.

There have been many reported sightings of Mary's ghost over the years. In 1995, a group of guests reported that they saw Mary's ghost in the hotel lobby. The guests said that the ghost was wearing a white dress and that she was crying. The guests said that the ghost then disappeared into the wall.

In 2001, a hotel employee reported that she saw Mary's ghost on the third floor of the hotel. The employee said that the ghost was standing in the hallway. The employee said that the ghost looked sad.

Whether or not Mary's ghost really haunts the Historic Fort Pierce Hotel is a mystery. However, the legend of her ghost continues to fascinate people to this day.
